Ed Naylor has asked me to inform everyone that he is changing his name and now is to be referred to as "Mr. Sho-Bud". Ed plans to appear before the Ohio courts very soon to have his name legally changed in accordance. Ed says when he's around a Sho-Bud guitar, he feels like he's around Family. He adores classic Sho-Buds along with his vast collection of BUD parts & pet kittycats. He seems to think that no other name is better suited for him. Ed is also in the process of having the town of Bentonville, Ohio changed to "SHO-BUD" Ohio. Ed. . .excuse me, I mean Mr. Sho-Bud also plans to be Sho-Bud Ohio's next Mayor. After his election, Ed plans to move him & Miss Imogene's house-trailer to Bellcrank Blvd. We all wish you the best Mr. Sho-Bud, hope your new identity gives you the image you think you deserve.

Nick- You forgot to mention that I am also a lifetime member of the BENTONVILLE OHIO HORSE-THIEF SOCIETY. and a Kentucky Colonel. I don't care what people call me -just as long as they call me. I need the money to buy food for all the animals that I am helping rescue. Ed

Ed I as a physician think you need to go to the NERVOUS HOSPITAL for awhile. However George Edwards and I can come up there and start a fight in your store. That should really do the trick.

Whats John Koop going to do for a name now Nick? He has been known as Mr. Sho-Bud for many years because of his extensive manufacturing of Sho-Bud parts. Did he sell his name? I have many business cards from John here,(I mean "The original Mr. Sho-Bud) do I throw these out? -------------> I thougt Ed was "Mr. Pedisonic?" Can I have that name?

For the record- I have never made an issue of it,but I have been legally registerd as Mr Sho- Bud for some time. The Bentonville Anti-Horse thief Society was formed in March 1853 and the annual banquet will be held April 27. I have been a Kentucky Colonel for some time also. I received a phone call today from the Ohio Humane society wanting my help in starting an Animal Shelter here in my Co. I gladly accepted. If I could only find time to listen to some of the 1/2 million goldie records I have.Ed

Just to further set the record straight.I started the PEDESONIC Guitar Co. in 1972 .This was my name for the "Fiberglass" guitar that I started building several years earlier.I haven't built the "fiberglass" for years but still have bodies etc and have even considered building a few.The "Metalflake" may still be to wild to really catch on. Does this mean I can't have the title of Mr. Pedesonic? You DID get me a position as a Deputy in the "Horse Thief Society" you know. I still have my card! Well if I can't have "Mr. Pedesonic" does this mean that you are BOTH Mr. Sho-Bud AND Mr. Pedesonic????
I guess I could be Mr. Emmons, but I think this my already be taken, I don't have the correct hat anyway. I guess I could be Mr. MSA, No, I already tried a third of that, didn't like it. Lets see now, maybe I could be Mr. ----------- OH I give up, I'll just be me, It's worked pretty well so far.

Rumor has it that the Pedesonic guitar was so durable that once upon a time during a demo it was thrown into a very large and dirty mud hole, jumped up and down on, taken out , hosed off and played!!!!!! Folks that saw it were astounded! Is this true?

What exactly is a Kentucky Colonel, I do believe that Bill Monroe attained this status in 1970 or there abouts?

Mr. Sho-Bud has just signed with a new PUBLICIST/AGENT in east Toledo. Ed, now known as Mr. Sho-Bud will now be available to entertain at your events, meetings, and partys. Don't forget the biscuits, potatoes n'gravy and cole slaw to go with that Fried Chicken. Rates very reasonable, mastercard & visa accepted.

Legally registered? How? Where? What? A license plate? The County Courthouse to change your name? This should be interesting. I'm a Kentucky Colonel, a Tennessee Squire and a pr!ck but all they will get you is a card for your wallet and a cup of coffee for a dollar.

Mr. Reed-- Please forgive my ignorance, or forgive it, or put up with it, or whatever. Are the jibes at Ed Naylor making a point of some kind or humor??? I've got no particular ax to grind and realize I should mind my own business. Respectfully asking so I can better understand. --Everett

Speaking for myself, I'm just having a little fun, some light hearted humor with no malicious intent whatsoever. I hope that Mr. Naylor sees it that way.

Mike-I am regisered with the Ohio Secretary of State , have all the required state and local liscense. Also my liscense plate is SHO-BUD 1.As to the durability of Pedesonic- Once I was set up at a show outside and we had a rain storm. I left several guitars out in the rain. After the rain I wiped them off and they were not hurt. .Ed

Everett Cox, If you only knew what a wonderful sense of humor he had, you wouldn't be getting so up tight. I'm sure you are a wonderful guy too so don't take very much info on this forum very seriously and your feelings won't get hurt. None of us wants this to happen. This forum is a happy place for steel player friends to have fun and exchange learned information, we all have all kinds of fun at different times, if you don't believe me, just call Mike Weirauch a big dummy and see what happens, call me Sleezmore, call Smiley "smelly", If we didn't like each other we wouldn't be doing this. Now you can tell when we love you by what we call you. We'll have a lot of fun with your name! Remember, this is a great place to be, a great forum (thanks to bOb lEe), so don't get ruffeled, just get in here and give us a hard time!
