I'm just getting into playing the steel guitar, and the guy who sold me his steel also gave me a 7/8 bar.
I'd like to try everything I can, and decide for myself what feels right and not.
I played with a 1 inch bar one time, and it actually felt better than playing with the 7/8.
I'm looking for basically one of each to add to my bag. The only 15/16 bars I can find are BJS, and are priced accordingly...^$$$$$ Looking for a stainless bar in great condition. And, I can't break the bank to buy it, otherwise, I'll buy them at the Dallas show in a month. My wallet is still reeling from the steel purchase.
Edit: I've been offered a 15/16 bar, still looking for a 1 inch bar.
Thanks.
Good to go now. Thanks for the bars.

My pal Scott Moon's is a very manly bar, and you should get it.
But of course, mine is 1/16" W-I-D-E-R!
I have a older Dekley 1" x 3 3/8" that weighs 11.5 oz (heavy) in better than average condition (for its age) and I'll take $25 for it. Two very small visual dings that I haven't felt at all while playing.
I also have a Jack Perkins 1" x 3 3/8" drilled bar (but minus the silly ball bearing) that weighs 6 oz. (light) in excellent condition and I'll take $30 for it.
Or you can have both bars for $50. Plus shipping, natch, or I can deliver them at the TX Jamboree.
Lemme know whassup if you want them.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
