Lloyd Green has been interviewed for this month's Uncut magazine for an article concerning "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" and his appearance on The Grand Ole Opry with the Byrds. It's always nice to hear new things about this subject and as usual Lloyd's memories are lucid, detailed and good humoured.

Not to come over as a salesman for the magazine but next month features an article on Michael Nesmith and the First National Band which will hopefully be a treat for Red Rhodes fans.

Thanks for the "heads up," Jonathan. Uncut is a good magazine.

By late ’67 the ‘American Beatles’ were in disarray – until Gram Parsons turned up and transformed them into good ol’ country boys... How musical history was made with Sweetheart Of The Rodeo."

Jonathan.........my good man.
Tell us more about the photo of your g'tar and the 'Security Guards' also shown in the photo. Had no idea that the U.K. had such pretty ladies.
My good friend "Moe Kabir" has never mentioned them.

Well, now that I've made myself out to be a complete fool......'bout the album cover and such....

I apologize to one and all. I guess that confirms that I'm just getting too olde to be mingling with the younger crowd. Oh well....

Still a very nice photo...
