Gerry Rafferty's "Right Down The Line"

Post by Chris LeDrew »

I recently recorded this one on my latest album, Stronger Man. I noticed on another thread that there a lot of fans of this song on the forum. I played a Pro 1 through a Twin, on the intro and solo. You can check it out here:

Just click on the song title....I look forward to hearing what you think of it. Thanks.

Thanks, Guys! It took a little while to get the feel of it, but it eventually came together. I had to do it one octave down from the original so I wouldn't be caught up in Hugheyland too long.

That's nice work Chris. I also like the more classic steel sound on 'Am I in Love With you'. Has anyone ever said your voice is a bit reminiscent of McCartney? For me there's a resemblance on that song.
