Hi,
This is a nice thread.
I run the Imperial Pub -
www.imperialpub.com - in downtown Toronto with my Dad. Our family has been at it for 64 years now. I'm a carpenter / chef /webmaster /business manager /plumber /toilet cleaner /booking agent /electrician/ sound tech/ bartender /salesperson/ steel guitarist. Not even remotely in that order. I have an honours degree in contemporary philosophy. In the summers I run away up north for a while to guide extended canoe expeditions for at-risk youth here:

I play pedal steel and lapstyle resophonic every spare minute I have, often forgoing sleep to pick, pick, pick the night away when I get home from the bar at 3:30am. I'm getting better every day and have some nascent bands in the works, but struggle to find people willing to stand in front of a microphone with a guitar and sing. Well, people who I can stand to play with, anyway.
I'm only twenty-five and am already exhibiting symptoms of what some of you folks call G.A.S., along with a lifestyle that would probably horrify half of you and turn the other half green with envy:
