Who is the steeler playing the Sho-Bud advertising his CD. Have seen his commercial, but can't remember his name. He is wearing a tux playing C6th neck and setting out in front of an orchestra.

No, it's not Gary Morse. I've only seen the ad once, and his first name is Michael and I his last starts with an "S". I think it was "Stadler" or "Staley" or something like that. I've never heard of him before.

You're probably referring to Michael Stanton. Do a search on "Stanton" - there's been a few threads on him lately.

I see it alot on RFD-TV..its Michael Stanton..looks like a burgandy Pro-II custom he is playing...does he ever post on here? His commercial states "World famous composer and Pedal Steel Guitar Player..Michael Stanton"....but I have never heard of him until I got RFD-TV.

I bought the CD. It's all C6th and it is great. This is a different approach to some very familiar songs and they are done tastefully. It is worth having in any collection. This is good listening.
