Hello everyone.
I have a roque non pedal steel that i bought off internet.
Problem is it sounds preety good with e tuning but when i try to change it to c tuning it does not sound right. i have to jagwire strings for c tuning but still does not help.
It has an adjustabe bridge and i am wondering if that is not the problem it is hard to describe but there is a place where you can insert a screwdiver to either extend or retrieve the string bride.
Can anyone giveme some advice or did i just buy a junk
THank you

Leo, it's been my experience that you don't need to have adjustable bridges for each string on a lapsteel. If the bridge is in the right place, all the saddles should just be in a straight line. Check to see if the harmonics are right on the 12th fret, and put all the saddles in that spot. Many lapsteel builders use bridges from other manufactures, cuz they're available, and they don't have to set up a line to manufacture their own bridges. Check out Loni Spectre's Lapdancer site. He makes a bridge for his Redneck conversions.
