My 1937 National New Yorker has really fat bass and now it is outright obese in the low register! Wink

Using two cameras was fun! Smile

All the best,

How low were you tuned? What size strings were you using?

It kind of reminds me of John Paul Jones' bass steel guitar, the one he used on Zooma.

Years ago I bought a pedal called an "Octabass" made by EBS, a Swedish(!) company. Gives you any blend of original signal and lower octave. The lower octave has a synth-like tone-- but cool-sounding, not cheesy.

I hear a resemblance... Smile Confused

Smile Thanks for listening folks! Yes, the "extra fat" was indeed an octave pedal enhancing the already booming bass of this 71-year-old National. Wink

Have a good weekend!
