R.J., sure thank you for all this great pr and pictures of our DSSG family. We are all so proud of this. Looking forward to our Feb 9 show here in Gulfport.
So very proud of our own Cayla Ann Kelton as she has an audition in Nashville this month on the "Americas Got Talent Program". Wishing her all the best in that venture in her early life time events. And we are most proud that this young lady will grace our stage on the ninth too. AND, we just can not stop with one lovely talented young lady on the program. -- Just rerceived confirmation that SERA, back from New York, will make an appearance and be on our program around 4 PM. (We all know the great talent of Joe Wright-his musicianship and showmanship. Well, in order for me to tell you all about SERA, just match Joe's talent in all that he does on stage , musically and professionally, to entertain us quite royally--SERA has this same ability in all respects. She does it with her voice and piano musicianship. Joe will be missed this time here at DSSG, but SERA will fill in just right for all to enjoy). I will have a schedule later this week for our program.

What a treat to see a photo of Johnny. I used to listen to him in the late forties, and possibly early fifties over a station in Louisiana I believe. He was a terrific player. Does anyone know if he plays anymore?

Clyde, I sent you a personal email about Johnny. Hope you received it. And we would love to have you down for our show too. Come on down, lots of southern hospitality to share-good music, good friends and good food all the time.
Thanks for all those pictures R.J.
I am working on the players schedule and we really have a full list and exciting show. Lots of variety. Just wait until you folks hear Wayne Gray bowing his lead guitar along with Jack Goodson on a real fiddle, Bob Saxton and Tony Lane all play "Orange Blossom Special" and we might be able to add Buck Grantham to that mix just to cover our steel guitar position in the mix.....R.J. has informed me that SERA ,one of his most talented and gorgeous daughters will be on the program . Her appearance with her dad will be at 4:05 to 5:00 pm.
Cayla Ann Kelton, "Miss Mini Minnie Pearl", just back from her audition with "Americas got Talent" TV show in Nashville will be the "warm-up" act for SERA at 4 pm.
Scott Pero, classical guitarist supreme will be on the program at 2:00 pm.
Really excited about the show Hank Corwin has lined up for us at 3:30 pm. A top knotch fleugal horn player from the MIssissippi Coast Jazza Society will be on his program to provide us with the very best in great songs we all lkie to hear but cannot play.
Schedule is shaping up good to entertain everyone to the utmost. See you all soon.

Ok everybody !!!!
Spite all they (DOCTORS)could do to me, I got loose. Ha !!! Felt like it was kinda narrer escape though.

Well kinda sorta !!!!

Been laid up for a couple of weeks. It's a long story and I'll tell you all about it at the show. Been feeling worser'en an old run over dog.

Really looking forward to seeing that fantastic list Billy has compiled,,,,,,,come to life.

Got a call from the wild man, (WAYNE GOFF) last nite and he is chomping at the bit, in anticipation of the show. Said he even went down and had his drum sticks tuned. Think about that !!!! We'll check-im out at the show.

I talked to my old friend Jerry Jaye last nite also, and he is just now getting over a bad case of what he said was close to puny-monia. Said he was gonna try and shake them bugs so he could make the show.

Man,,,, R.J. That little brownie of your's has been busy. Great pichers !!!!

Jim Parker, you jist holler if you need me. I'm gonna try to hang in there like an old rusty fish hook. You am a fine picker and it's always a pleasure to have the opportunity to occupy the back side of the stage with you. ANYTIME !!!!!

Just a few more days to the BIG-UN !!! Ya'll "LOAD-UM UP AND BRANG-UM ON". We want to see that place over fill, and I'm sure it will.
