Charles, just today put my January song on his Web Site, from Walt Disney's , "When you wish Upon a Star". This is on one of my practice tapes.
I hope maybe I can get one on with Band in a Box backup for February. Thanks Tilley, I have heard a lot of great steel players on your site, that I wouldn't usually have heard....al.

Fantastic job on that song Al. I really love those classic tunes they are the best and they always will be. Its beautiful songs like that , that gives us a chance to use some wonderful chord work on the steel where it be C6 or E9...great work. John

John-Thanks, I appreciate it. I just listened to your songs . They were very clear and clean and the melody all the way through with chords. Really nice E9 playing. Nice Harmonics on the end of "America The Beautiful".I am hearing more melody on E9 on Tilley's Site, here. That is good.

Tilley-I just heard your "Whispering Hope", and with that background sounding pretty good to me. Nice Dobro in the middle, did you do that?

I enjoy this thread,You can hear the big guys on their CD's,Here you can hear great picking from some of the lesser known pickers,and they are all good.DYKBC.

I listened to your song John and you sound as professional as Tom Brumley on that tune...one of my problems is my bad eyesight so I tend to sound flat. I'd like to be back in my twenties again and not have this diabetes...then I could really get somewhere. Keep up the great work.

Thanks John, I have been playing pro for over 30 years, i spent many years with Frank Ifield , He was the first singer to have 3 number one's in a row here in the UK back in the 60's and four number one's in one year.

I have also enjoyed Charles's site. We are now in Florida and won't be able to post a new tune until we get back to North Carolina sometime around the middle of April.

Charles, Charley emailed me and said he put a cut of Shennendoa on his site. Its just me and my Derby.
I thought folks could listen and give me some advice on what I'm doing right or wrong. remember I've been playing less than a year so take a roliad before listening.

John Roche- Just because guys don't post , doesn't mean they didn't listen to your song. I just heard your song on E9 in the Tom Brumley style, and you did an excellent job on it.

Al Marcus, I was not asking that people to remarked on my tune, what I meant was a counter that would tell you how many hits you had on your song.

Well, Bill Dobkins sounds great to me. Seeing you posting one at only one year of playing prompted me to take the plunge and send one to Tilley as well. Like you I've been playing only a year so I hope folks keep that in mind when Tilley posts it.

Bill Dobkins-I just played yur Shenandoah. Nice tone on that E9th. Very clear. I get out your old CD that you sent to me and play it once in while. Some good original country tunes in it....al.

I just read every post on my site and what I see is that ALL steel players appreciate what others are doing no matter what level. Well, that is just the steel guitar family being family. I love reading what you say about each other. I also appreciate what you say about me. When I started this site nearly 1 year ago, I never dreamed it would be so big. I enjoy doing what I do and get great pleasure out of being the first to hear your songs. I try not to make comments that elevate any player over another but sometimes the player is so good, it is very tempting to do so. So far, I have been able to control myself

The fact that so many enjoy what I do just makes me want to do more. I am always trying to improve what I do on my site.
