Looking for someone to pick with in Houston TX Area

I am a 26 year old steel player in Needville, TX (SW Houston area) and I am looking for a group to pick with. As we all know on the forum here, you only get better when you pick with live musicians..I am tired of playing behind Band-in-a-box...I have only been playing for a little over a year, and I am looking for an opportunity to pick and have fun! Brandon is coming right along on steel. He is taking lessons from one of the best, Jody Cameron. As he said, you really have to start playing live to learn. Hopefully Brandon will get a break soon. Jody.
