Since I got my JCH D10 8+8 some years ago I have been playing around on the C6 neck w standard Buddy Emmons setup. Yesterday I changed the setup sligthly after some serious thinking about how to still keep what was there and improve/adapt the setup to the voicings I heard but could not find. By moving the B note normally found on P7 to LKR I got more independent control of the notes on top and the final trick was to add the C-B note on the 10string on P7. Now P6 + P7 gives me a nice Dom9 on strings 9 6 4 3 = F Eb A D and on the 10 string I have the b5note (root note for the B7#9 on strings 10 6 4 3)
It will take a little getting used to hit LKR and P7 at the same time but so far it feels quite natural.
I still can get the A# by halfpressing LKR or P4 but that will take a little bit more getting used to. I might consider to change P4 to raise only to A# in the future but for now I am going to play around with it as is.

Here is the complete setup
