If anyone happens to be in the Pigeon Forge, TN area on New Year's Eve, I will be working again with Con Hunley at the Grand Hotel Convention Center. I have worked this with Con for several years and it is without a doubt the best show in this area. Of course, as many of you know, Con is one of the finest vocalists around and we really get a chance to do a lot of his great material at this event. We also have a great band which has a total of 10 pieces. In addition to Con, T.G. Sheppard is also on the show along with two other groups.
I just thought I would pass this on if any of you happen to be in the area as it is a very enjoyable event. You will even get to see me wear a Tux, which is not easy for me as I have more than one chin!

I had the pleasure... and it was a great pleasure... to work with Con Hunley one night about 20 years ago, and I will say that he has possibly the deepest, most soulful, expressive voice I've ever had the pleasure of backing up; I envy Brother Herby for his gig, which he must really enjoy.
Those who saw Con perform with HW this year at ISGC should know what an amazing performer this guy is. If I were in the area... being as I got no gig the NYE  ... I'd definitely be at this one! I might even dance with my wife, if things got crazy.

| Herby, I was driving one night and the DJ put on Con Hundley doing, "You Still Have A Place in My Heart", and, man, I was blown away by the soul of this guy's style. His vocals and his piano backup. Having the two of you on one show is too much! Wish I could be there. |
