Was just listening to "Tiny Dancer" and realized how much i loved the pedal steel part. Anyone know who this was playing on this track? Oops, just found a similar thread in steel players. Mods, sorry bout that and feel free to delete it, I apologize.

I believe B.J. plays a Williams S-12U PSG.

I'm in touch with B.J., a very nice person and player, He said he used an S-10 Emmons P-P on "Tiny Dancer", This tune was recorded in the early '70s.
I also loved what he played on this song and think the total package was a true master piece. The steel and strings were incredible, and I am comparing it to anything I have ever heard.
I recorded this tune and arranbment about ten years ago and before it was finished it was accidentally erased by the Nashville studio engineer, broke my heart (and billfold).
Google "B.J. Cole" and you can get a lot of info.

I checked BJ's website and his preferred PSG is his S-12U KLINE.
