PLEASE CLARIFY INSTRUCTIONAL CONTENT

Post by steve takacs »

Mike, are all of these 7 CDs instructional or do only two of the CDs include this
information:intros/turnarounds/fills/chimes/
backing the singer /how to swing on the e9th
for those who dont play c6th slants/tricks/ fun stuff.

This sounds like an amazing deal. I would like to order a set of the seven CDs on Christmas special. Thanks & Merry Christms, steve t

Well I have ordered so much stuff so far and I just dropped you order in last week sometime. I asked because I am finding out that a lot of stuff is I guess beyond my playing as I am playing a 6th string steel at the moment and tuned to C6.

Im finding that a lot of stuff is towards 10th string and E9th tuning which I have yet been able to I'll use the term convert to 6th strings. I realize that that the chords would remain the same no mater what. However, the melodies via notes may change from one steel tuned to 1 thing and then 2 another tuning and the same with 10 strings. Guess you could not play the 2 or 4 other strings but then I think you would miss out!

However, hopefully hope that I pick up some new info here. Thanks, will prob just have to save your material for when I progress further. Thanks am waiting to get your material.

Dean
you may find my course a little easyer
to follow
I understand what you are saying
steel instruction can be hard for the newer
player thats why I take it slow
thats another reason I teach by voice and not
paper tab :D

Well you should have got my order last week, well hopefully anyway! to tell you the truth I cannot remember when I sent it out! but I ordered your material before I ordered Ricks. His I know I got to tune to A6 hehehe as I have his earlier stuff as well. But just haven't got to A6 yet as I am still studying GeorgeBoards C6 material! lololol

I'm still working on blocking as I know I need to know how to do it. I've got it down for whole notes, but just cannot quite get it for 1/4 notes yet but still working on it!

But cannot wait to get your stuff as well. Thats enough ordering for me for awhile any way
