Topic: Dunlop thumb picks |

Anyone tried the new thumb picks Dunlop has out that have the tip at an angle? 10 degree, 20 degree and 30 degree.
Perhaps they have been out a while, but I just got ahold of some and they work quite well. |

Hi Bob - yep they're called Zookies by Dunlop ...I've been using them for a few years now because I used to grind the front edge off a standard thumb pick with my picking angle...The Zookies fixed that fine, it's just a matter of trying them and seeing which angle suits you best....I don't wear out thumb picks anymore  |

I didn't realize they were out that long. I tried the three angles and decided on the 10. I really like them and recommend them to anyone

| I've been using the Zookies 20s for a few years too. It's odd that they haven't caught on more since they resolve a very common problem. When they first came out I couldn't find a place to order them so I was heating ordinary thumb picks and bending the blades. Dunlop does it better though. |

I have more of an angle problem with the two finger picks so I've been using double band angled ProPiks for a while now.
