I want to thank all the players and others who played and helped in making my steel guitar show @ the French Club a success again this year... We had great steel players as well as special guest singers. Each player had their own distinct sound and touch to make that set special. I also noticed several Fessenden steels that were real great sounding . Again, thanks so much for participating. |

Frank, it was a pleasure playing at your show with all those excellent players. Thanks for inviting me.
I can see how much work it takes to produce these shows...you are to be commended for continuing with this every year.
Attending were people from Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, New York and of course, plenty of us from Rhode Island!
You must be doing something right, so keep it up!

Frank,
Thanks again for inviting me to play at your show this year. I had a ball and it was great to hear so many fine steelers. Many thanks to you, your crew and the backup band that worked so hard all day. It was a fun time! Hope to see you again next year,

It was a pleasure to backup so many fine players yesterday. Everyone did a great job and Frank did another fine job with this years show. Len Amaral did a great job as the MC. I think everyone had a great time. Sure were a lot of Fessenden guitars there yesterday, and they all sounded great. |

Frank I think you did a great job on your Steel Guitar show and I know from exsperiance how much work is involved to run a steel show.Thank you for inviting me and my wife and the members of the R.I. Steel Guitar Association.A great choice of Steel players. It was nice to see Jim Cohen,Jerry Fessenden again and all the players. I like the way Ed Cunningham plays the fry pan he sounds a lot like Scotty. Thanks for the Great time.

Frank,
Another great job and a really fun show. It was a blast playing my Lap Steel and backing up Jim on both his sets. We've got a wonderful bunch of Steel Players in New England. Oh yeah, in Philly too!!
Thanks for letting me play. See you next year. |

I remember when it was mostly duffers like me who played at these steel things in the Boston area. (Before Sunday, I hadn't brought a steel to one in well over 10 years.)
What a rude awakening Sunday was! I was the ONLY duffer! A really fine cast of steel characters! (I shoulda stayed home!)
Thanks, Frank, for having all of us. |
