Thanks Doug for a great job!
Any beginner or intermediate player can not pass this up. The materials are some of the best I have seen for ease of playing due to the arrangements, clarity, size of script and most songs you do not have to turn the page.
The disc provided is right on pitch as Doug plays the song and next track you play with the chords.
The arrangements are at a level that allows you to easily improvise your own licks or just follow the melody.

THESE SONGS ARE JUST LOTS OF FUN TO PLAY AND
YOU CAN SOUND REAL GOOD WITH LITTLE EFFORT!!

Good Job Doug !

I'd like to add a plug for Doug's "35 popular melodies" tab/CD which I got through Scotty's a couple of months ago. The arrangements in here range from easy to work-at-it-and-it'll-come and I have had my money's worth 10 times over already. Thanks Doug !

As a guitar player for 40 years, and a bass player for 25 years, I find that playing steel is what gives me the most satisfaction (only been at it for two years). Doug - your latest product (I've bought others) is great! Thanks for a fine product and your speedy service.

Doug B.

Your musical expression helps to bridge the gap between beginner and achiever. Thanks for sharing your steel guitar wisdom by offering your new CD and tab instruction to those who wish to pursue the learning process. Your keen interest in the steel guitar is manifestly reflected through your music. Thanks again Doug, for your help. Bill H.

Doug, just my 2cents worth....they are great for an old /?/ like me. Wish I had these when I started back with the PSG two years ago after a 33 year layoff.

I want to thank the many forum members who have ordered this new songbook. I have sent a donation to the forum, and if the orders keep coming in I'll soon be sending another one Image

I have discovered one thing... this forum has a lot of readers, many of whom never post. It's good to know that there are so many pedal steel players out there! Image

Doug,
This is Fantastic! I've never been much on just doing exercises and, at times, I've gone a month or more never touching the guitar. This is just the thing I've needed to keep me at it. Thanks!

Thanks Rick. Practicing technique is important, but boring. I'm glad that this book/CD has given you new incentive to play. db

Received my order a few days ago and I highly recommend this package. After Doug demonstrates each song, you have a rhythm track to play along with. Thanks Doug, for the prompt shipment and a good job.

Doug bring your tab with you and anything eles you want to sell and you can set up a table along side Jerry Fessenden at no charge. I want to look over the tab to see if I will be able to play it.

I'm bumping this up because I've had inquiries about it. Yes, it is still available.
