Opinions on different brands of strings

I've been playing PSG for a couple of years now and don't know much about different brands of strings. The only music store in this town that stocks PSG strings is Ben Jacks. You might think that a PSG giant like him might have a good selection of PSG gear but the ONLY thing he caries related to the instrument is John Pearse strings and maybe a tone bar or two. I don't know if these are good strings or not but they're all that's been available to me locally.

I use john pearse for my dobro, they seem to last longer. I use SIT Emmons Strings for my e9 and c6. I would like to try some Jaguars tho.
