John - they all vary in size depending on manufacturer. I doubt whether I would get mine on board as hand luggage. The ShoBud pac-a-seat is massive and quite weighty too. Are you looking to bring one back to the UK as hand luggage?

Ken, the seat i'm buying to take back to Spain is a Scott-Dixon Steel Guitar Seat from Rainbow music Ireland. It look biggish but lightweigh.

John, my seats have always gone as hand luggage on Northwest airlines from Gatwick airport. When I had my Sho-Bud pakka seat, it fitted "under" the seat in "front" of me on a 747 (Jumbo), but when I changed planes to a wide body DC-10 it wouldn't fit!!...the stewardess led me to 1st class and strapped my bloody seat in one of those big seats, and told me to return to my seat Sad That seat was destroyed in a house fire, I now have a "steeler's choice" easy rider, they are smaller....but really comfy Smile
