This is Glenn Derry,he built this
guitar in the mid 40's.He worked in
the San Diego area in those years.

I love to pics of the instruments of guys like this fellow. Hears a sound in his head and comes up with a way to do it that was very far reaching at the time. Pretty cool.

I agree, Bill! Having 8 pedals was pretty "rad" in the '40s.

The hat gives him the Bill Monroe look. He sure looks comfortable playing that thing. I suppose there are no recordings of him playing it?
