Well I finally pulled the trigger and am moving permanently to Hollywood Beach Fl. I've been here in Nashville 42 yrs, and since I retired I've been spending alot of time in Fl, finally got the nerve to pull up stakes and make the move. I will miss all my friends here but I'll be at some of the shows and keep in touch.

I'm going to go to the Philippines for 2 months to visit a cousin who has a business there. There is plenty of internet access there and I will be able to keep in touch.
All my stuff heads to Fl On Jan 2nd. And I fly to Manila that day. Fly back to Florida Feb 27.

Richard, congratulations on "retirement". Or at least as much retirement as any musician does.

Too bad your a long way from me,and the redneck territory.

I'm retired too, from a day job, and at 70 still doing some touring. We'll be with George IV in January and Tommy Cash in Feb. Both will be "RV Park Tours" and may have a couple of dates with Johnny Carver later.

Bobby Bare usually comes down in January and February and mostly fishes at Lake Panasoffkee (about 15 miles from me). He does do a couple of jobs while here as he has his drummer "cueball" and his girlfriend on bass (I forget her name).
