I was gigging down in Florida earlier this month, and I was listening to a station out of St. Petersburg, when the announcer say's, "we have a new girl here and she 's doing traditional country and she's great". And was he ever right. Her name is Star De Azlan, from Martindale, Tx. Great voice, great song, great steel and guitar, and she is absolutely gorgeous to look at. What a package! Never thought I would want a road gig, but in her band, "Yes I Would!"

Went to a site and listened to her. The tracks were great, but I found her voice to be just a bit too youthfull sounding. Not as mature as I like to hear singing country. Still a very good talent.

Well, Im in. Great voice and song. If she needs to age before shes acceptable to some on here just hang on. That happens fast enough. There have been some stars created with half the voice of this young lady.
At least you can't say there was not enough steel on the cut.

I wonder who did the steel work. She needs to stop doing the R&B note bending thing so much. A little is okay. It gets a little annoying. Other than that she's got a great voice and good image. Production could be smoother also. Better string arrangement. Second verse. You can tell she grew up around country.

Sung and played well, and very nicely produced, too! It's refreshing whenever I hear a new recording with some "space" in it.

Thanks Dave. I wouldn't be saying that about Rhonda Vincent. This girl here is good though.
