Anyone try putting the nashville 112 speakers in a twin?

I have a silver face that needs new speakers

It won't work. The Blue Marvel speakers are 4 ohm. The Twin is designed to run with a 4 ohm load minimum. Two of the NV 112 speakers will make a 2 ohm load.

But there are Blue Marvel speakers in 8 ohm version if memory serves me correctly.

What if you wired them in series instead of parrallel? If your Blue Marvels are 4 ohms, it would make the amp see 8 ohmes, and a twin would do that, with the loss of a little volume, probably one number on the volume knob??
