WTB Maverick or Red Baron Cheap

Post by Ernie Pollock »

Need a cheap steel, A Shobud Maverick, or a MSA Red Baron would do. If you have one to sell, does not have to have a case, a box will do!! shoot me an email.

PS: there are still 'poor people' out there that would like to play steel but have no money to spend. Seems like they always find there way to my shop??

There is a nice MSA Sidekick on ebay right now. These are great little guitars, much better than a maverick in my opinion. I started out on a new one in about 1974 and it was very beginner friendly!! The sidekick came standard with one knee lever like the maverick but the ebay listing does not mention one. If you are interested in it, you should ask the owner about the knee lever before bidding!

There's a Maverick at Capsule Music for $700 CDN. It's in pretty good shape too. www.capsulemusic.com

That's one of the nicer Mavericks too, with the maple body, raised neck and it has 3 & 2.
