My son and his wife were in Holland, scheduled to return on Wednesday. With the stranded people not able to return, it could have been a nightmare. He told me many of the people of Holland came to the airport and offered help and lodging to those with no place to stay due to the full hotels etc. He told me of the kindness and hospitality showed them by the family that they stayed with. They even had access to the internet to keep us posted. J.J., these are the kind of people help make such a disaster a little less stressful. My heartfelt thank you to the people of Holland.

I have been told that hotels in some areas of the U.S. have been gouging stranded air travelers with higher prices for rooms? A travel agent informed me of a Hilton hotel in Alaska has done this? Anyone heard of this also?
A few gas stations in Des Moines Iowa doubled their price per gallon for a day following the terrorist strike.
Falling into the hands of the terrorists is counter productive at this point.
So when does Jane Fonda leave for Afghanistan?
