I went to see the music biopic satire "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" the other day, and there was some surprisingly good steel playing in the movie! Does anyone know who's responsible? I didn't see any mention of players in the credits.

Funny movie, BTW!

Very Happy

I found it interesting that several of the prominent songs had a lot of steel, but there wasn't one on camera until the big comeback/awards show scene near the end, where there was someone playing a Sho-bud with the band on stage. I didn't recognize him but there must be someone here who can identify him? And is it the same guy that did the soundtrack?

Perhaps it's even a forumite...

Funny movie for sure!

It was probably meant to. I recognized a little bit of Brian Wilson, Johnny Cash, Bix Biederbeck (Man with a Horn), Ray Charles and several others. Thought it was a laugh riot. I normally sit through the credits. But I was too tired tonite. So I have no clue who the steel player is, either. But I recommend the movie. I thought it was hilarious. And I'd be curious about the steel player, too.
