Marco and Jason.... I am one of many Americans whom, I'm sure, really appreciate your sentiments....and as one who is not physically affected by this tragedy, my thoughts are with the victims that are and their families.

It's very hard to express my feelings today...I'm still totally shocked by what happened today. Me and my families thoughts are with all the victims. We cannot believe what we saw on TV. I really hope this terror ends here. I have some friends in NYC and I am glad I finally reached them all.
Sorry if I didn't find the right words.

Friday has been declared a National day of mourning for those lost in yesterdays attacks. Ever Irish person seems to have a connection with the United States. I spoke to so many people today and names of friends and relations living in New York in particular, kept being mentioned. So far we know of one Irish woman and her 4 year old daughter who have been lost. They were passengers on one of the planes that hit the WTC and the woman's brother was working in the building at the time but he is safe
Thank God. I can't stop thinking of what must have been going through the minds of the poor people on those hijacked planes because I have no doubt that those madmen told them what was going to happen.
I feel so sad.
