I have seen a gizmo that is attached to the bottom of an amp or speaker that allows you to tilt the unit back. Is this device available after market?
Thanks,

Len,
the ones I've seen are simply spring loaded recessed handles mounted on the bottom front of a cabinet.

I use a surface mount, spring loaded handle on the bottom of all of my amps and speaker cab's. Evans amps have had these for a while, that's where I got the idea. I buy the handles and 1" tall rubber feet from Parts Express. The handles have to be modified slightly so they will go slightly over center.
Here's one on my Jazzmaster Ultralight.
Here's one on a 15" cabinet I built.

I find that 2 old "red back" hymnals tilt my cabs back to a perfect angle.

Len, you can order the tilt foot and screws from Evans (under Links then Accessories) on the Evans Web Site for $20.00. My Evans amp came with the tilt food and It is very useful. If you have an amp with pop-out casters, you can just remove the two rear casters. |

Len..You may want to check out the Amp Wedges. They are simply rubber wedges that slide under your amp and the tilt angle can be adjusted easily by moving the wedge forward or back. They also help eliminate much of the vibration inherent when your amp is sitting on wood or concrete surfaces. Available at American Musical Supply I believe..........BTW will be shipping the acoustic amp to you sometime this week.....David |

Hi Dave, thanks for the info on the amp wedges and I will check them out. I look forward to receiving the acoustic amp and I am sure it will be a good match for my Godin nylon string guitar. |
