Anybody want to share their thoughts on a Desert Rose guitar?
You don't have to own one, anything would be appreciated I just don't know much about this brand.
Thanks,

I do not own one. ( I would love to )but I have
been to Arizona to the factory. Chuck Back the
owner and builder is a very nice and fair man to
deal with. The Desert Rose is a very well made
high quality guitar and sounds very good.
The price is right and you will like it. |

I'll echo what everyone else said, great guitar, and Chuck is a really great guy. I don't think you can go wrong with one. I'm hoping to have one myself this time next year!

Randy,This is the first D-10 that Chuck built and is hands down the best pedal steel guitar that I've ever owned. From what I've heard the new models are lighter,To me they sound like an old ZB,Plays like butter,You won't find a nicer guy than Chuck..unless ya' find me Ha! actually I'm mean.

If you want the sound of a steel guitar that you associate with classic country pedal steel buy a Desert Rose. Its a classic sounding steel built by one of the nicest guys in the world. |

I've had mine 3 years now, stays in tune no matter what I do to it. You'll look hard to find someone as nice and willing to meet your needs as Chuck. _________________ steelseat.com The most comfortable seat in the business.

I was in the market for a 'fly guitar', a single neck 10 string that I could use for fly gigs or for gigs where I'm mostly playing lap or dobro but wanted a light guitar to play on a few songs.
I looked at every single guitar on the market, and I think the Desert Rose is the best on the market for what I was looking for. Now if Paul Franklin were building single 10s, it would have been a hard decision, but since he's not it was easy. The guitars are beautiful, well made, and they don't sound like all the other guitars out there. I agree with Stu that the tone favors the ZB.
I'll post some more as soon as I get the new guitar. |

I had the pleasure of seeing 3 or so played at the Jam out here in AZ and they sure do sound great and look beautiful. They are some of the nicest looking guitars I have seen around. |
