Sorry for no link, but there are a number of interesting steels on the bay right now that you may want to check out, and with more than 1 of these Pro's available, I'm not blowing the cheap price for someone if they're interested.

Easy to find, under - lap steel, 2nd page towards top, in 2 tone sunburst, by seller - hiddenvalley.

These look to be decent 6 str. steels, and the price is certainly nice. May be the best deal around today.

At first I thot maybe Tom Pettingill had ventured into manufacturing big time as the shape and hardware is similar to the nice one in his avatar.

Not my first choice in PU and bridge, but not having heard them, maybe they are fine with the humbucker (looking) PU and adjustable bridge.

Anybody had experience with these New York 'Pro' guitars?

That appearsto be an almost exact duplicate of the new Gretsch lap steels. The pickup is differentand I am unsure about the bridge hardware, otherwise it's the same guitar.

Those do look like a Gretsch body, gumby headstock too.
I wonder what the body wood is, the Gretsch is luaun.
