The Steel Guitar Hall of Fame fundraiser sponsored by the Louisville Metro Steel Guitar Club will be held on Sunday July 29 beginning at 12:00 noon w/a covered dish luncheon. Steel guitar music is expected to run into early or mid evening. Some names on the player list are: Billy Robinson, Sharon Denney, Rob Parker, Don Curtis, Scotty, the handsome and debonair Audie McQueary as well as
several Club members and other regional players. The list of supporting players includes the unflappable Boogie Sherrard on the Guild "Green Darlin".
The event is being held at our regular meeting place. "Russell's Shed" on Hiway 44W about 6 or 7 miles west of the Shepherdsville exit off I-65 This exit is about 15 miles south of Louisville, Ky.
Admission is $10....going to the SGHOF.
The roster is subject to change and some nice surprises are possible if last year is any indication. JO.
