don't know who but it sure is nice playing. I would like to hear a few more chords in the improvising. Great job. I really like Donna Lee by Mike Krutke. Larry _________________ U12 Williams keyless 400

Oh, by the way, this time you can vote for "I Have NO IDEA but I Like Listening Anyway". I put that in just so I know there are more than 14 people out there enjoying these. So even if you don't have a clue, please at least vote for that option so I know you're there!
Thanks,
The Mgmt. |

I have no idea who that was but it's great. Possibly my favorite on the unknowns. |

Great version of Moonlight In Vermont! I guessing here... but I think it's Shef.

If you're right, you win a night on the town with Shef, all expenses paid. Shef said so. |

That's right boys and girls. A "night on the town" with Shef will begin at McDonalds and then finish with fishing for pennies under a grate with chewing gum attached to a string. Or if you'd prefer, we can just dine on frozen macaroni and cheese while we wear our cowboy hats watching Bonanza reruns at my place. Either way it's bound to be a memorable evening. |

For me, the sparseness of the chords was one of the nicest aspects of the playing, along with the freshness and originality. |

Shef, I didn't realize you were a 'professional' musician...

Shef! You're the current frontrunner! I think people just want to go out on that exciting date with you, now that you've described it so vividly. (Oh, btw, a few people have asked whether they will be confined to the dollar menu, or can they order anything they want? Oh, and one guy wants to know who pays for the gum?) |

Time for some more VOTES; we've been stuck at 18 for a dog's age. Over 400 views of the thread, and only 18 votes, even with the new option to vote for 'I don't have a freakin' clue'?? I don't get it... |

I don't know. So far I'm 0 for 3 votes on past polls.
Having said that, at first I thought it was Susan Alcorn, but I didn't hear that rich tone she gets; then I think I've heard Reece play in that style, also Curly, but not often. But there are some players in the list I haven't heard, it's probably one of them.
Bottom line though, I like this series of Mystery Steelers and the steelguitarjazz website - lease keep it up. |
