I clicked on the link and a young lady tried to sell me a sex-aid product!

Could you provide a more direct link, Damir?

Damir, I have a few questions for you about how to actually go about buying a Promat, since there's very few hard facts on the website.

Do these guys read and write good English? Do they have an e-mail address? Being sure there would be no misunderstandings would be an absolute prerequisite for me to make a huge payment in advance to a (very) foreign country.

Haven't listened to the sound clips yet, but want to comment that these sure are beautiful looking steel guitars.

hi Per,

sorry about late response, I don`t have a computer with me thru the week but rather use my cell phone to check my emails and it is very limited when it comes to internet.s far as Promat goes, yes, they corespodent with you in good English, they do have an email address:

psdule@eunet.yu

I don`t think big down payment is necessery in advance, they ask for a deposit and how the process of building your guitar progresses that`s how you pay.But all of that would be between you and Promat. If you don`t wont to wait, they have one black D-10, 8+5 with BL710, fatback finished right now for sale,it is brand new, buyer changed his mind. That guitar (if it`s not already sold) would be available right away and I think price is 3800 Euros (but not sure) + shipping...

Thanks for the info, Damir - that sounds reassuring.

We'll se how things work out in spring. I have a feeling there's a Bavarian two-seater that might squeeze itself to the top of my priority list for 2008, but maybe there'll be room for an SD10 Promat as well.

I usually prefer mine with straight sixes up front, but that one would be OK too if it had a roof and were painted gunmetal grey.Wink

(As we say in Europe: "Porsche is a TWO syllable word!" )

I just took a delivery of my D-10 Promat, fat back,mahagony/maple and this is what I have to say..amazing looking instrument,Promat is now chrome plating cross shafts and bell kranks, pedals are little longer and overall finish underneath is finer, in near future Promat will come with their own freat boards and improved changer as well as some other changes on the changer and some other parts and measurements.Guitar is amazing and of high quality as always.I am in the process of ordering a SD-10 in wine red lacquer with white hand rest and gold plated tuning keys and also improved Promat changer.I will post some pictures as soon as I get back to US.I will be at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville on Saturday, Jan.1st 2008 if anyone is interested to see this instrument.
