I finaly got around to cleaning the pullers on my Bud.
After removing the puller assy & pullers, I noticed, each puller has a small hole right at the bottom on each puller. Are these holes for helper springs ? There is a bracket about 3" foreward from the puller assy with holes . Looks to me like a spring could be added for each puller very easily as a helper if needed?
There were no springs on any of the pullers ,except the return springs on top.
Also, what would be better as a lube for the pullers, light oil or grease?
Thanks
