Darryl linked to youtube on asking if the Wynn Stewart tune had Ralph Mooney playing steel.
I know who this is on pedal steel but thought it was well worth a listen. These two cuts are the type music I have a serious addiction to. Listen to that beat and
the pedal steel on the first Porter tune especially.
My, oh, my. This is the real deal to my ears!

Notice where the pedals are on Don's guitar? A week later, they might be at the other end! Don was the original product tester for Shobud. |

John, now that is a piece of history I had not heard before; interesting. I thought I remembered he had 2 different steels with pedals on the Right end. I might be wrong, I really didn't know them that well. _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |
