Great meeting. A small but good time crowd. The players: Jody Sanders-D10 Pedalmaster. Brandon Ordoyne-D10 Emmons, Jim Saunders-D10 Mullen, Scott Kamp-D10 Mullen. Vocalists: Gene Brogden, Vic Gunary, and Aimee Kamp. Misicians; Mike Guarnere and Patty Phelps on bass, Vic Gunary and Jim Saunders on Rhythm guitar,David Varnado on fiddle, and Billy Phelps on drums. The teaching segment by Jody was relative to using minor chords in a major scale. Great picking and singing by everyone. Those that were not there, sure missed a great country-gospel show by Scott Kamp and his group all the way from Beaumont. Thanks to those who brought the great treats and beverages. As always,a special thanks to Billy and Patty Phelps for all they do to keep our club operating. also, thanks to all the pickers and vocalists and the audience for supporting our club. Let us not forget this holiday season the real reason for the celebration. The birth of our LORD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosporuos New Year. May GOD bless and we will see you in Jan. Jody, Billy, and Patty.

Jody,
I really wanted to come, but my sister had been very ill, and I wasn't sure that I would be able to make it.
On Saturday at 7pm, she lost her struggle and died.
I had a lot to do Sunday, so I will try and come in January.
Dan Kirby mentioned that maybe we could do a memorial music jam for our dear friend, John Hughey.
Let's think about it!
