Brad ask a while back if I would take on this project. With his help and the great board layout drawings from Bill Crook I have the info available. I will not be selling the kits, as too much tech support would be required! I will install the kits or supply free the following via email only:
-board layouts with parts numbers noted
-parts list with part numbers and pricing
-schematics with part numbers
There is no board layout for the powers supply, just a schematic with part numbers matching the parts list.
My price for installing and testing will be $210.00. The amp chassis or amp may be sent to me. Return freight will be added to final bill. I will require payment prior to shipping back the amp. I will also add 3 percent to the bill if paid by PayPal. Any additional work required will be billed seperately. Please do not send a non-working amp!
[This message was edited by Ken Fox on 30 October 2006 at 01:06 PM.]

[This message was edited by Ken Fox on 30 October 2006 at 02:22 PM.]

I have done a very old with with the metal face plate and a newer one with a plastic faceplate.
All I can say is it is a smoother tone to my ears. I like it a lot!
I think the subject of Brad's kits has been well covered in other posts on the Forum and his website.

Yea. Lots of people confuse the little old '70s "LTD 400" for the "Session 400 Limited" which came later and is a totally different animal.
The LTD 400 is the little brother to the old Session 400. Sweet tone, all discrete circuit, small cabinet. (Dickey Overby)
The "Session 400 Limited" is the 80's amp that is full sized, and has the more modern, opamp based circuit.

LTD 400 preamp
Got a new detailed photo with part numbers for the LTD 400 preamp board. Same circuit but a smaller board. Parts are a bear to locate using the Session 400 info!!!
Glad to send it to anyone needing it

I have a detailed photo of the Session 400 preamp with parts stuffed and all part numbers added. Makes the install a lot easier!
Just email me with your email address if you want a copy of it or the full mod details.
Just finished another Session 400 and two LTD amps in the last few weeks.
Let me know if you have one coming, as I order the kits as needed. Takes 2-3 days for the kits to arrive here.

I kit in stock. I usually keep 1 to 2 on hand for installation. Let me know if you have one on the way!
We will be at the Daleville, AL show this week end.
We can pick up any amps needing mods or repairs there.
Repairs are limited to most all tube amps(except modern PC board stuff) , Session 400, LTD 400, N-400 amps and Webb amps.
We can also do the battery-less mods for Profex and other Peavey processors at the show,
I have a new prototype of a remote reverb control for the Nashville 400 and I will be bringing along to demo as well. I hope to have it tested and ready to sell in some quantity soon.
