Man that's fantastic. It brought tears to my eyes.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, as well as some older MSAs, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Recently added a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored blue Rose, named the "Blue Bird" to the herd. Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic again that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also added a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks.

The singer is the great Dawn Sears, wife of the great fiddle player Kenny Sears. Kenny is also on the clip in the cowboy hat. Dawn travels the road sometimes with Vince Gill. She sings harmony with Vince and is featured as well. I have always loved her rendition of "Sweet Memories", but with John's passing the words mean even more now. Rest in peace "Pappa John". Bobby

Its impossible for me to explain the feeling that comes over me when I watch that video and the words just touch my heart...John Hughey's steel playing for some reason makes me feel like the hand of the Lord has touched me because of the beautful sound coming from his guitar and his soul. I can't listen to that song without breaking down because it just explains to anyone how one feels when someone has gone away.

Terry, that is a great video.
Here is my memory of my friend John Hughey from a couple of years ago.
I feel so fortunate to have been able to sit beside John and pick for an HOUR.

Re: Now that is country music!!
An "INCREDIBLE" vocal by Dawn Sears and the impecable steel of John Hughey... I've watched that track so often, and only this morning "Christmas eve" I've received my DVD of the Time Jumpers. I was so lucky to have John sign my own guest book last year (page 9)...and if only I had got the chance to meet him as he had suggested.

I just played this video again and can anyone tell me if I can get a cd from this group? The music, the harmonies, the deliveries, can it get any better than this?? I gotta have MORE!! Talk about leaving us with Sweet Memories!!! It is so nice to know that real country music is still living out there. What an angelic country voice Dawn and the singers have! I defy anyone to find any fault with this presentation musically or vocally. Wonderful, just wonderful and amazing. Thank you so very much for presenting this video and long live "real" country music!

I embedded this on my myspace web site. It's worth sharing with everyone. Such talent as with Dawn Sears and Johns playing. It just don't get any better than that. What a player he was.
