When I was young and just started work, an older, married colleague said that given the choice between sex and a bacon sandwich, he would choose the sandwich any time. At the time I thought he was crazy, but as I get older that bacon sandwich looks more and more attractive.

Philosophers over the years have rated their most enjoyable experiences. Now's your chance.

(I thought of giving the choice of "Participating in the Steel Guitar Forum", but since you're reading this you're already hooked on that !)

Since I was six years old, I have been learning to play guitar and shooting. Since I reached the age of 18, my turn on's have been My wife, vintage Guitars, Steel Guitars, Guns and Motorcycles.
What really turns me on now is that same beautiful lady I married 53 years ago and the Mullen and I being on stage with a musicaly tight band for a dance or two hour show.

At this point in the poll, I see that 80% picked something other than sex. Can I safely assume that 80% of the forum members are over 100 years old? Laughing

Ken, that bacon sandwich used to be very high on the list but my cardiologist put a stop to that. He said to much bacon might be the reason he had to put four stents in my heart. But then, you lose some and win some. I still would rather have a half pound of bacon than a 16 oz T-Bone steak.

I guess after a few years a person does begin to realize there are other important things besides sex... at least I hope so. I'm not 100 years old but I'm old enough to remember that besides the fun of chasing the girls it was a cause of a lot of complications... and nearly getting me killed more than once... but those are other stories.

Yeah, I must be getting old... but I'm not complaining. Done plenty of the other things listed, sometimes it was a blast, other times it could have been all over.

Now I'm happy to wake up every morning and have another day with my wife and baby daughter. They are what matter most to me. A couple of other things are, a nice ride on the Harley on a quiet country backroad on a nice day, and playing and listening to some good music.

what turns me on? Surprise me. Niether Viagra or my sho-bud will do what I want. My eyes ar so bad all I can do now is polish my gun collection. Diabetes has killed my appitite and thirst for Jim Beam {not the love of it}. I guess that since my stroke ,just wakeing up gives me moderate satisfaction.

I had the time to rethink my previous position, the sound of a d-10 pro2 gets me wired and geting the right combination to the gun safe on the first try really gets me excited.guess there is hope after all. I believe I deserve a shot of JB for the breakthru I have had.
