I'm Taking this oportunity to post for my friend Bill Hankey the announcement for
The 19th Berkshire County (Western Mass) Steel Guitar Bash...July 15,2001 at the Log Cabin Restauraunt (VFW) on Route 102 Lee, Mass (just west of the Lee exit of the Mass Turnpike)from 12 noon to 8PM.
Confirmed to play are Doug Bomire, Pete Adams,Sam Gibson, and tentivley Bob Hayes.
This is you chance to all of you pickers in the New England,New York State,and posibly you pickers in Jersey,Penn, to participate.
Bill Has been hosting these great Steel jam/Bashes since 1982.

Hey,I urge all of you "Northeaster's",& Eastern Canadian steelers to attend this "blast". It's a lot of fun,& you'll meet a lot of great people,(& pickers) there. Who knows,maybe the "Great" Joe Casey might even attend,to sing,& emcee this show. I've done it once,& had a blast.

Hi Bill,
You know I'll be there. I've played 18 of the 19 shows, back to 1981 and had a great time at every one of them. Some past shows have featured Buzz Evans, J.D. Walters, Smiley Roberts, Dave VanAllen, Jim Smith, and many others.

My Mom lives in South Lee. My Sister's not too far away in Lakeville Conn. i used to live in Lenox, Housatonic, + Stockbridge. it's been a long time since.
Thanks for givin' me another reason for visiting the Berkshires.
