I have modified an old Morrel 'Little Roy Wiggins' 8 string lap steel. I am upgrading the pickup to George L '10-1' and adding a 500K ohm tone pot (B curve). Could someone recommend the value of a capacitor to add to get a good tone mod range. Thanks in advance for your suggestions...this may save me a day of trial and error.

Thanks Marvin that is what I needed - someday I would like to understand 'why' but for now a spec is what I needed.
