What year is my Emmons?

Post by Dave Thimot »

Hi,

I need a little help from you Emmons guys out there. I bought a used Emmons Lashley LeGrande SD10 but I don't know what year it was made. The serial number is 718L. Does anyone out there have any idea what year it is? Thanks.

Depends on several things. But if it's a popular color? Late 1990 or 91....bb

Thanks Bobby, that really narrows down the year for me. It's black mica, I guess that would qualify as a popular colour.

I can't say for sure.Brain Adams, Mike Cass and several others would know. But my 1970 has wide pedals my 72's have narrow. But the 72's where ordered with 9 pedals. The 70 came with 8. And I'm thinking the 9 pedal guitars where spaced closer even in the early days.Pretty sure the 10 pedal guitars where. This is just a bump to the top..bb
