Just curious if anyone has ever used a JBL in a Nashville 1000? I really like the tone I'm gettin with my Peavey 1501, but have always favored the JBL tone. I would rarely ever play with pre gain over 3-4 and master gain over 5-6. I doubt I'd ever use that much to be truthful, so it's not like I'd be blowing the top out of the amp. What are ya'lls thoughts on this? Thanks

Terry

An E-130 will probably sound better than the BW. A D or K -130 will definately sound better but you have to be carefull not to blow them.

I was just curious Paddy, not planning on switchin speakers any time soon. But I bet a good K-130 would really sound good in my 1000. Smile

Terry I have always found the JBL's to be a little edgie for my tastes - I much prefer the warmth of the 1501 !!
