I went to the post office today to pick up a parcel....the parcel happened to be my brand new spanking Jackson Blackjack. I didn't even have to tune it. It was ready to go. I guess the huge differenec is the pedal action. It is soooooooo easy to play. When I played my first song on it......I thought I was gonna cry, and I can't even play that well. I know that the Lord made mention of trumpets in heaven, but I bet when He hears a steel down here on earth He is up there making some changes right now as we speak. You know He is gonna want a pedal steel up there.
Thanks to Dawn, and David and Harry Jackson for a great product. It was worth the wait.

At our Birmingham, AL steel jam last January I tried the Jackson steel guitar several times and was impressed. In fact I played my buddy Charlie Tyron's new Jackson. Great people -- great steel worth checking out. |

I guess it is because of the forum here that I got HOOKED on all of this steel stuff. Many thanks to Bob and the forum. Everyone here has made it a pleasure learning about the pedal steel. There are some other good sites but the forum here has anything and everything that you need for a steel.

Congratulations! A fine looking steel.
I must admit that my eyesight isn't as good as it was twenty years ago, so I'll ask. Is what I'm seeing a full finger, push and pull?
Hope you get many hours of enjoyment. I'm happy for you as well.
Real nice. |

|
|
The price is 995 base and that comes with one knee.
I ordered mine with 4 knees (150 per knee, thus 150 times 3). I paid for the case too, which was 195.00.
Shipping was about 50 bucks too which includes insurance.
I really like it and it is everything that I thought it would be. The tone is what hooks you with this guitar, and I thought that my MSA semi classic sounded good. |

Congrats Dave!!!
I'm glad to see that you finally got your new baby. It's a shame that you're getting rid of the old MSA, you gotta find a way to keep it too!!!
