On YouTube.com search for Tompall. Click on Tompall and Glasers Medley Live. This is apparently from a sold-out performance in England in the the 80's. How soon we forget the great groups. Prepare to enjoy !!

Gary:

Thanks for posting about the Glasers. You can't hardly get 'em like that no more.

My favorite brother group of them all, by far. That medley of Bouquet of Roses/Many Tears Ago/You Win Again is just a knockout. I saw them do it at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco about 20 years ago. Sad to hear about Chuck's confinement to a wheelchair. I know he had a stroke 25 or 30 years ago and I guess it continues to take a toll.

Sadder yet is that they are largely forgotten other than by diehards like you and I.

Is that FANTASTIC or what!!! You boys ain't the only ones that remember that. Saw 'em do it live at the "Midnight Jamboree" about 40 years ago or so. Played for "Jim Glaser" a couple of times - a real gentleman... Jimmie

I haven't forgotten them, either. I saw them in Peoria, Il. after they had reunited, with Doyle Gresham on Steel, and my good friend Bill Holms on Bass-I can't recall the Drummer. They opened their set with a number that Doyle and Jim Glaser played twin LEAD guitars on. Doyle is an excelent lead guitar player. The only downside to that concert for me, was they were the opening act for Boxcar Willy, of all people! No disrespect for the late Boxcar, but I felt it should have been the other way around. By the way, I have a Video of that Medley from Austin City Limits, if I could only find it.

I agree with Richard Bass they and their perfomance are a sight to see. Always knew they great but that performance proves it. I didn't realize that Jim was such a fine guitar player, he also had a lot of fun during the singing a real performer.
Thank you Thank you for the video which also lead me to Tennessee Ernie Ford and Speedy West.
