It's a shame all pedal steels are not built that way.
Amen! That's one of those "Why didn't anybody think of that before?" ideas.

All the little stickers on the ends of my Super Pro rods have been lost, and I marked the rod numbers on the ends with a Sharpie. Only have to freshen them up every few years, and at least they won't fall off.

Interesting that Bill Rudolph supplies numbers. My Williams has little notches at the hook end. Don't know if that's factory original, though.
