That is beautiful! A great arrangement to show what the E9 tuning is capable of.

His grip on the bar is similar to that of Bobbe Seymour.

Absolutely one of my favorite players. Every time I hear Arnett play, I'm reminded just how beautiful the
steel guitar can be in the hands of someone who has
complete control. Anyone who doesn't appreciate playing like this is missing out on a wonderful
experience.

Arnett played this song earlier this year at the Northern Va Steel Guitar Jam & Show. It was one of the best performances at the show. He really puts his heart into it.

Please post urls of great players on the net

Post by Dean Salisbury »

I'm new to steel guitars and this forumn. However, if you talk about good players who post things on the internet, please give the url to their page. I'm not that good of an internet researcher to find some of them. The URL would really help so all of us could check them out and may be learn something.

Thanks

If you are hearing Arnett Mills for the first time I am happy for you. I have had the blessings of listening to Arnett on many occassions live and Utube doesn't give this great artist the sound he truely posses. Arnett, you have been a great inspiration to me and your encouragement over the years have kept me going when I wanted to quit. You, my friend, are one of the best set of hands God ever gave to a steel guitar.
