Sorry Steve, I didn't look at where you are. I have played a Williams keyless for years and have been using the same standard gauges the E9th uses. Unless you have a 12 string universal , then it changes a bit on the bottom strings. Hope that helps, Albert

Albert & b0b, thanks for taking the time for your input. b0b, I'll be in the USA November and December and will order some more sets for both tunings. I've used these strings on my Zumsteel and have been happy with them. Thanks, steve t

Give Bill Rudolph a shout. . .he's a good guy to work with. If you're ever in doubt about sizes on anything, order a cheap micrometer from ENCO, Inc. Their website is user-friendly and you can make credit card purchases right away. I have yet to wait 48 hours for anything from them!!!

Thanks for the tip about www.use-enco.com, Paul. I've been looking for a good micrometer, and their prices are great. I just now ordered one from them.

I've got a small micrometer made primarliy for strings that I bought years ago from Musician's Friend. It's came in handy at times.

I think Bill matches the rollers with the gauges the customer prefers. So you`d have to find out the gauges the guitar was shipped with.

I've had a good meter for years. For the life of me,
I cannot figure out how to use it. I used a slide rule
tears ago, before calculators, but never figured out to tell a string size. The wound part, or the unwound part.
