I must agree about the great backup band!

In the past year I played some gigs with the drummer Larry Jackson, and I knew his brother Jim, who was a great guitarist and singer. Well, I played a gig with Larry Jackson last Saturday night and you could set your watch by him. He plays it right!

I have also played with Bob on several shows and he's a great bass player. The other guys I don't know but the rhythm setion is right. THanks!

Ray; Looks like a good lineup I wish you would have put some bad players around me, but I don't see any bad players in your list. See you sometime Saturday morning. Thanks again for inviting me. Larry Gerdeman

Hey Scotty Henderson,

Are you still going to be filling in at Ft. Scott Jubilee this Saturday?

I just got word that I will be filling in on piano.

I think I will stop by Baxter Springs on the way and check out the show. I have never been there, but I have heard great things about it. See you there.
Very truly yours,

Mr. Western Swing himself Dugg Collins will be with me on the show this year. Not only is Dugg a great singer, he also is the morning voice on KFDI Radio in Wichita. This is a great honor for me!

:D I am really looking forward to attending and playing on the show. You feel like you are among friends at this show. I want Scotty Henderson to know that I may let my (white) hair down when I start playing. I hope my hot licks curl the hair on Fred Justice's head. Beware, I may bring Dracula in a Amish hat with me. I should be considered armed and dangerous with my little single neck 10 string E9th Emmons. Scotty Henderson, I want you to know I have been thinking about using black shoe polish to color my white hair. Only problem is, I worry what will happen if it rains.

:D Terry Wood and Scotty Henderson, I want to tell you guys about a T-Shirt my kids bought for me. On the front of the T-Shirt it says: "DAD-The Man, The Myth, The Legend". Look out for me and my little black single neck Emmons.
